Master in Interior Architecture at HEAD Genève University of Art and Design
The Master in Interior Architecture course at HEAD Genève University of Art and Design teaches interior design as a multidimensional discipline.
School: HEAD Genève University of Art and Design
Course: Master in Interior Architecture
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Course dates: September 2022 to June 2024
Application deadline: 8 April 2022
The Master in Interior Architecture course is characterised by transdisciplinary approaches, tackling urgent problems such as environmental impacts, the renovation of existing heritage and the construction of inclusive communities through the design of interiors.
Through many methods and on many scales, you will consider interior design as a multidimensional practice, articulating the spaces, objects and media of contemporary societies. The project workshops, as interior design laboratories, lie at the heart of the programme.
Here you will develop concrete projects, on a real-life scale, in collaboration with partner institutions or organisations, during which you will become a reliable professional capable of leading complex design processes, on the scale of objects or space, for the private or the public sphere, in permanent or temporary projects.
You will also attend technical courses, theory seminars, study trips, lectures and interdisciplinary workshops. The teaching and experience will lead you to develop bold new ways of thinking.
With your MA degree, you will be ready to work in a reality focused on human beings, with advanced technical training, extensive practice in design and humanistic education that will help you develop your critical mind and practice a profession that, although based on individual creativity, is always aware of its collective implications.
Applications to this course have now closed.
