Both programs guide students to prepare a portfolio to apply for professional degree programs in architecture.

Introduction to Architecture Online: Foundation Studies and Portfolio Develeopment for College Students is a four-week course that prepares students to apply for an undergraduate or graduate professional degree program in architecture.
Participants are mentored through digital studio projects led by The Cooper Union faculty, graduates of professional degree programs in architecture with experience in both teaching and practice, and a team of student teachers.
The course provides a comprehensive overview of the culture, practice, and history of architecture.
It engages students in digital technique workshops and the iterative processes of analysis and design that are foundational to a critical approach in the study and making of architecture.
