Course dates: September 2022 to June 2025
Application deadline: 26 January 2022
Our Architecture BA (Hons) course at University of Huddersfield educates students to address contemporary challenges and emerge as confident and innovative architectural leaders.
The project-based curriculum is centred around the design studio, where students learn design skills, develop visual literacy and test ideas that enable them to thrive in a fast-changing world.
Our B.Arch students are creative thinkers and makers, like to explore the world around them and want to be a part of shaping the environment we live in and interact with every day.
There are two strands to the course: Architecture and Architecture (International). Both have a highly distinctive approach to the subject, allowing students to explore different cultural regions fuelled by creativity and critical thinking.
The course operates in newly-constructed facilities, shared with courses in the arts, media and built environment to form a rich interdisciplinary milieu within the newly-merged School of Arts and Humanities.
Course tutors bring diverse experiences and cultural backgrounds and draw on the rich, diverse research pursued within the school. The course is RIBA-validated and the school also offers a RIBA-validated Part 2 and Part 3 course.
Applications to this course have now closed.
