Competition overview
LAGI 2025 Fiji competition invites designers to create a work of art to support a coastal village’s 67 households. Proposals should complement the natural environment while being a key source of electricity and water.
Two winning teams will each be provided $100,000 USD to advance their design proposals. Out of the two winning proposals, one project will be chosen for implementation at full-scale as a pilot project in Marou.
The winning projects aim to be replicable models for creating, implementing and operating renewable water and energy systems in island communities.
Eligibility and judging criteria
