She graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Sheffield, before joining the magazine as an editorial assistant in 2018.
In 2023 she was highly commended in the Architectural Journalist of the Year category at the International Building Press Awards and was shortlisted for the same prize in 2022 and 2025.
